Shipping and Returns Policy
Shipping & Payment Details
All our items are located in Grenitote, North Uist, Scotland, United Kingdom
All Orders
Dispatch is regularly made Mondays and Fridays. All consignments are well packed in padded envelopes or recycled cardboard packaging and bubble wrap.
UK Delivery Charges
We will usually dispatch your order by Royal Mail 1st class Signed For® which will usually be with the customer/recipient within 1-2 working days from dispatch. Please allow extra time at busy periods, such as Christmas. Orders will be dispatched on the next Monday or Friday after payment is received unless otherwise discussed per email or telephone conversation with the customer and/or recipient.
Postage Costs
£5.00 for orders up to 1kg (to a single address), £7.00 for orders between 1001g and 2kg (to a single address), £16.00 for order between 2001g and 5kg (to a single address) and £25 between 5001g and 10kg (to a single address). Orders will be dispatched on the next Monday or Friday after payment is received unless otherwise discussed per email or telephone conversation with the customer and/or recipient.
EU Delivery Charges
Orders will usually be dispatched by Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed which will usually be with the customer/recipient within 5 working days from dispatch. Please bear in mind that international orders might incur custom charges which are collected from the recipient.

Orders over 2kg will be packed in separate parcels up to 2kg with postage costs applying to the individual parcel as stated above.

Orders will usually be dispatched by Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed which will usually be with the customer/recipient between 5 and 7 working days from dispatch. Please allow extra time at busy periods, such as Christmas. Orders will be dispatched on the next Monday or Friday after payment is received unless otherwise discussed per email or telephone conversation with the customer and/or recipient.

Returns, Resending, Refunds, Exchange
We will always package our products with great care to ensure they get to you in good condition. However, should a product arrive damaged we ask that you contact us within two days of receiving your item. We require the invoice as proof of purchase to complete your return, and then we are happy to accept a return subject to the Return and Exchange Policy below.
Returns and non-delivery
Sollas Bookbinding cannot be held liable for packages which were not delivered or misrouted due to an incomplete or incorrect address given by the customer.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to inform you that we have received your returned item. If you are approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment unless otherwise discussed with you.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at . Once we agreed, pack the item(s) for return safety and label it correctly to

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll process your refund and send you an email to let you know. We will send you the refund within 5 business days. The refund will appear in your bank account in about 3-5 business days after.
Shipping
Please note you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item(s). Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of the initial shipping will be deducted from your refund as well as any shipping costs occurring to us from the return shipment. When returning the item, please consider using a trackable shipping service. We cannot and don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Resending
If your parcel can reasonably be assumed lost in transfer (if the items has not been received within 2 weeks for UK orders and 20 working days for international orders) please send an email to to discuss a refund or, if appropriate, resending the item(s).
